Burned Me (1983)
A dark past returned to haunt a family already on the brink of ruin.
Cumali (Ferdi Tayfur), an honest young man from Adana, travels to Istanbul to build a future and falls deeply in love with Neslihan (Serpil Çakmaklı), a night club singer. Eager to begin a life together, Cumali brings her home to Adana to introduce her to his traditional family. Unbeknownst to Cumali, Neslihan shares a dark history with his reckless brother, Tahsin (Yalçın Gülhan), and is using Cumali as a pawn to exact revenge on him. As the family is already crumbling under the weight of Tahsin's crushing gambling debts, Neslihan's sudden presence ignites a devastating firestorm of past secrets, betrayal, and heartbreak that threatens to tear the family apart.
